Cristina Azcona is an Educational Psychologist and has a post
university degree in Family Counselling from the University of
Navarra, Spain. At the same time, being also bilingual novelist
and poetess , she has authored four books in Spanish and a
poetry book in English .Her English texts, poems and articles
are being published mostly in USA and India, Recently, EOLSS
UNESCO published her articles at EOLSS encyclopaedia (UK) and
her poetry can be read at Phoenix New Life Poetry (UK) .She is
founder editor of Bilingual MCA,(Bilingual Poets for Peace) and
IFLAC in Argentina.(The International Forum for Literature and
Culture of Peace)
She is a member of SADE, the Argentine Society of Writers,
founded by Jorge Luis Borges and is also member of the Academic
Circle of Argentine Authors. Among several distinctions, she
obtained
• Ambassador of Peace in the framework of the Universal
Ambassador Peace Circle.
• First Prize in poetry at one of the most important contests of
her country, by CADDAN editors, Argentina
• Finalist in 50 literary competitions at Argentina (Cadan,Nubla,
Ateneo, Tridente,Org. Pueblos y Cultura,
• Finalist at 20 USA competitions (Biffs Boards, International
Championship of Poetry, International Library of Poetry)
Today she mostly works as freelance writer and editorial advisor
in both English and Spanish languages
PEACE UNIVERSE
There is a place not so far away
Where bees surround the children’s play
And give sweet honey to them each day
There is a pond where the moon gazes
To her two opposite rounded faces
Dark and light one, distant from races
(In this magnificent dream
There’s only one team
And poetry always wins).
There is a unique voice to converse
Around this global universe
And it’s just to say it in verse
Let us be kinder to each other
And not be tempted to bother
The joyfulness of our brother.
And let us arrive to a new quality
Through education in morality
Where differences are in equality
