In the land of opportunities
Once I had to open an opportunity
Alas! There were many a keys
Confused, I missed the crucial one …at the crucial time
Lamenting on the miss
I returned to where I started from once
There in the darkness I found
The key to open the single opportunity.

When I was a bibliophile
I wanted to be a reader
I became a reader; for I just read
What writers wrote for a reader
I had been successful;
In my role as a reader!
When I was a reader
I wanted to be a writer
I managed; for I wrote
Materials for others to read
I had been successful;
In my role as a writer!
When I was a writer
I wanted to be a thinker
I am a thinker now
But I am failing in my role!
As I struggle to fight
Against my own thoughts!!

To the world of dreams
Once I got a ticket-'free'
Next day morning woke up I
Nothing could I remember then
