Dear Dr. Saxena (Rati),
Hello and thank you for acknowledging my submission. I was so
sorry to pull
the one poem. I feel I should explain the unusual circumstance
and timing:
what happened was that after submitting to you I showed the poem
to the
person to whom it is dedicated. She is guest-editing a journal
and wanted to
include it (without the personal dedication, of course). I did
not feel I
could say no, although I usually never withdraw work that way.
Please
forgive the inconvenience to you.
Yes, I did see news of the festival. It looks absolutely
wonderful and I
would love to attend if I could afford to do so and if my health
would
allow. I will certainly dream about it and see if there is a
way.
Again, thank you for your reply. I am delighted to have found
Kritya! I see
you have included the work of Christina Pacosz in previous
issues. I met her
online and find her to be such a lovely spirit, with powerful
poetry, as
well.
Yours in the art,
Kim

I also wish a joyful and creatively productive new year for you
, your family and the Kritya family. Let Kritya flourish with new
vigour and colour.
With lots of regards

I am delighted to read the new edition of Kritya with the Uzbek
