Sunil
Uniyal, born 14.1.1953, is a post-graduate in Ancient Indian
History & Archaeology and is presently working as an Under
Secretary to Government of India at New Delhi. He has been
writing poems, both in Hindi and English, since his school
days and haiku, especially, for the last 25 years. Presently
engaged in translating medieval Hindi Bhakti poets, Sur and
Kabir, and working
on the first collection of his poems. His haiku and poems
have featured in many national and international e-journals
recently.
