Art exhibition
Kritya engagement with arts and the esthetic experiences through poetry
and allied art form has always manifested it self in the
blending of the visual and the poetic. On the occasion of the
festival an art exhibition has been envisaged kritya will afford
a forum for art lovers of the world over to witness a visual
extravaganza through the work of upcoming Indian Artist the
exhibition in the exhibition gallery of Punjab Arts Council and will
be open to the public on all days of Poetry festival.
Amit kalla
is a young artist and a mature poet. He Studied Art
History, N.M.I, New Delhi. He has many arts exhibitions (Solo
and group )in his credit. He had Worked for International
art exhibition, Japan. he is Pursuing research work on
BHAKTI Literature and Artistic Notions of Rajasthan. He is also
doing a Detailed studies on TANTRIC Art. He got variuse
awards like- • Bhartiya Jnanpith Navlekhan puraskar 07 for
Poetry Collection (Hone Na Hone Se Pare), Satya Shanti Samman
07, Maru parampara 07 for Paintings. he feels about his
art - 'Energy I feel is the essence of all processes in the
cosmos. And all uses of art are somewhere somehow connected to
the same essence. Whichever the form---painting, Energy I feel
is the essence of all processes in the cosmos. sculpture, music,
dance, poetry....'

V Kadam is Diploma in Sculpture and Modeling from Sir J.J.
School of Art. Participation: Year 2002-participated in workshop
conducted by Jindal art foundation in Sir J.J School of Art,
Exhibited in NGMA, Mumbai.Year 2004- Participated in stone carving workshop conducted by
CIDCO in New Mumbai.
Year 2006- Participated in Sandarbha site Specific Workshop in
Partapur, Rajasthan.Year2007- participated in the KalaGhoda Art Festival, Mumbai.Awards: Year 2000- Late Smt. Shanbhag Awards for Annual art
Exhibition.
Year 2001- Promising artist Award in Annual art exhibition.
Daniel
Connell
is an Australian Artist who as been working in Jaipur
for more than a year. After completing a degree in Spanish
Language and literature he taught in Australian schools for 9
years and has studied fine arts at The Adelaide Central School
of Art.
His work is mostly figurative focusing on portraits. Connell is
a dedicated to human rights and environmental issues. His work
is concerned with repairing divisions between communities and
individuals.
In 2008 Connell has had two solo exhibitions in Jaipur and been
involved in a group show in Sydney. He was selected as a
finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize in Australia
and the Fleurieu Peninsula Biennale for his portrait of Greg
Chappell and his landscape work.

Vijendra Vij has started his career, as
a freelance painter, the realm of modernism abstract art in
Indian traditions. He has painted series of paintings on
the themes of Women's, Musician, Dancing, Photo-Session, Mother
and child, Women with a-parrot / bird / lamb), Human
Relationships, Life-scapes, The girl, Fear, Insane, Hope, Life
Insatiate, The last century, Lonely Voyager, Exploitation,
Relaxation, Pain, She's, Three - Sisters, Dissolution, The
Silence, Solitude & Compositions - all these titles which, he
has given to my creative visual expressions. He talks about his
experiences - 'My mix of colors is abstract and I bring about
the levelness and the environment governing my characters at any
given moment mixing with intimate thoughts and depict them on
the canvas. I want to express these in my own creative visual
imagery. My style of painting is based on experimental studies
in different medium. Oil, Water & Computer graphics become
strong medium of the reflection of my vivid perception and under
standing of managing human value to achieve individuality. '

Bhuwania -Born in 1979. B.F.A (painting) from Gov. Institute of
fine Arts, Indore.Had several group shows in India and abroad.
One solo show at Triveni art gallery,New Delhi. Was awarded
SCZCC award and National Scholarship from Ministry of culture.
Invited several art camps and workshops. Live and works in
Indore and New Delhi.
