Congratulations
for the new issue- here is something in continuation-
From Darkness toward Light
Darkness is covered by darkness
layer after layer
light beyond the womb
is illusion.
Falsehood has spread everywhere
greed is covered by carcass
darkness in the nether world
dark hole in the sky
schizophrenics idiots and nincompoops
suffer from nebulosity
half-wits and cunning fellows
are consumed by their own follies
earthquake pestilence and deluge
the natural calamities
earth has witnessed many;
this is for the first time that
man has threatened nature and earth
warming nuking aiding with AIDS
Nature is a helpless spectator.
Religious fundamentalists
swarm like snakes on earth
whole body covered with burqa like things
they look at your heart
with vile eyes
without your knowledge
swarming and spreading out in alien lands
they kill themselves, kill others;
zealots’ swords like Damocle’s
hang over your heads, close to necks
saints with the benevolent and the honest
hide inside the dark cave
nothing is spared, none is spared.
Hermaphrodites lesbians sodomites
prosper like models everywhere
it’s an ill-gotten bastard time
but it seeks change earnestly.
All sleep when thousand stars
illuminate the earth and sky
but they linger at the brink
of the half-conscious memories;
trellised sunlight falling on forest floor
seeks the balls of light
at the source of darkness,
from the holed hideouts
they peep and peer out
the sons and daughters of light.
The skeptics yawn at their audacity
to penetrate the thick darkness,
at their impertinence
and unforeseen challenge.

Hello from Iran,
Thanks for ur online poetry magazin...so nice ..this time had
lots of deepness...i enjoyed...
I just have a suggestion..coz anytime i read ur page my eyes
start to pain ,because of the color of text and background...if
it is possible for you please change the color of text from
white ON black...maybe a drak color for text and a light color
for background will be better...
Thanks alot...all the best on ur poetry and your mission and all
artist's mission of lightening the darkness. :)
best regards

Dear Rati Ji,
I was very happy to read your message but I think the meaning of
the sanskrit verse quoted in your mail is about going towards
light and not
towards 'SAT"
Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya would translate as "Let me go to light
from darkness"
Asato ma Sadgamaya would mean let me go from untruth to the
truth.
I may be wrong. Kindly enlighten me.

Dear Rati,
thank you, I red new Kritya. I also discovered that there is
available my
CV, may I add there something? This spring I got Juhan Liiv
annual prize
again so it would be correct if there was "Juhan Liiv annual
prize 2000 and
2009". Thank you again and I send you good wishes from Estonia.

Dear Dr.
Rati,
Thank you so
much for publishing my article in the November issue. I am very
much impressed by your phylosophy of getting into a positive
exile from darkness to light in this month's editorial. I am
happy to inform that our anthology, 'New Voices was released on
28th November at the Darsana International Book Fair.
Regarding the next kritya Poetry Festival is their any fee or
other formalities to attend? Please inform.
Love and Regards

Hi Rati,
Needless to say, i have been enjoying your collection of poetry
for a bit now. I love the flavours and the textures you
introduce. Visiting Kritya, invariably absorbs my voices
within...smiles. Yes, i do enjoy it tremendously!
I am no poet like the ones i read, but have been writing for
couple of years. Am sharing some with you...Would you like to go
through them and see if they work? they work for me and the
moments i wrote them in.
Let me know.
Much love,
Navita

Saxena
I am so happy to see my poems in your site. Thank you very much.
Its fine,
couldnt find any mistakes. Hope you will format it, because the
lines seems
to be slightly distorted.
I wish you a great 2010.
