Dear,
dear Rati,
I am reading everyday a little of your last Kritya about your
Poetry Festival Kritya 2010: it is so interesting and beautiful.
As usual you get great results! The main object of this Festival
is so real, because now so many people are moving away from
their original countries and still they remaim tied to their
origins. For Jewish people, diaspora is a over 2500 years of
history, but now it is a common event and it is important to
write poetry about it. It is a pity that I could not afford to
come to your Festival, because this year it was particularly
interesting for me. Maybe you remember that my wife is working
everyday on this problem in Italy, since millions of people come
from everywhere, including India. I shall keep reading your
Kritya, a little everyday!
Your are again a wonderful person
Your true friend

Dear
teacher,
I could not come and attend the Kritya Poetry Fest in Mysore due
to
many official reasons, thou my heart was always with the moments
of
the Fest.
I believe, it was a great success to your expectation.
I missed it , my apologies.
Warm regards,
Qudsi

Dear Rati:
Thank you again for your kind invitation. It was very good
organised festival, I enjoyed it very much.
In other hand, I thought would see the Italian poet, Elisa
Biagini, but I didn’t. After Kritya I wrote her a letter, and I
knew it wasn’t for her possible for labour reasons…she was angry
(and sad) for that. I hope the next year she can be in Kritya.
Now, I am in Vienna again. I need to solve many personal and
professional issues. Later I write you about this idea to
publish one book of mine in Hindi…, At the moment…I would like
to have the Hindi translations in word, if could be possible.
Thank you for everything you did in Mysore for me.
Enrique, from Vienna

dear rati
i just realised today, that i never replied to this email of
yours. thank
you for your kind words. we enjoyed the festival very much,
meeting
interesting new people, and also being in india again. and
mysore was a
pleasant place to stay.
it was great to see you again, to help out and to work with you
more
intensely this time. i felt that in general everything ran very
smoothly
and fairly calmly. thank you once more for all your hard work in
organising the festival.
would like to send you something new for the magazine sometime.
and
don't forget about my suggestions for doing some creative
writing
workshops, either at the next kritya festival, or in some other
way at
some other time. it might add yet another new dimension...
talking about dimensions, another suggestion: what about adding
music and
poetry again at the next kritya...? poetry and art, film,
music...

To the
Editors,
As a former contributor to your journal, I thought you¹d be
interested
in knowing that in December of 2009 Diminuendo Press launched
the title of
my poetry collection: EVERY CROW IN THE BLUE SKY.
My web site is: www.everycrowinthebluesky.com
I¹ve received extremely favorable responses so far in the UK,
but I¹ve
found it next to impossible to find someone to review the book
in this
country. I¹m enclosing a copy of the book¹s introduction written
by a
professor at Sheffield University, UK. I hope you¹ll do me the
honor of
passing along this information.
Sincerely,

The
Editor, Kritya Your choice of Osvaldo Sauma's poem The Woman
Dances is wonderful. I found something like Souma finds it in
his poetry. I call it a true poem as it has able to make inroad
into my heart. There are many who fill the pages with dead words
in the name of poetry but only with the sole intension of
material gains. They do not sustain in the world of poetry for
long. Me like readers ought to be indebted to you for presenting
with a bunch of good poems. Many thanks for the noble efforts.

Dear Rati,
First let me thank you very much for your hospitality, your
kindness, and
especially for your book.
I told you that right after meeting you I had that strong
feeling for you as
if you are my sister, and I meant it. I can't explain it. I have
never felt
this way. I only know that somehow we are deeply connected from
long ago,
that we have already known each other very closely once, known
and loved as
sisters do.
The festival you have organized was an excellent example for the
complete
measure of good poetry, good spirit and mood, good environment
and good
friendship. Mysore University, and especially CIIL, was a very
good place to
host the festival and it had inspired both the participants and
the
audience. Once again, thank you for a wonderful experience which
enriched me
and offered me a better understanding of what good poetry is all
about.
As always, I have enjoyed my staying in India - especially in
this case of
the Kritya Poetry Festival. I loved Mysore very much and I will
definitely
come again for it. Each visit deepen my love and appreciation to
you, the
Indian People and Culture. I am already looking forward to my
next arrival.
Meanwhile please tell me in which language you write originally
so that I
will try to find here in Israel an acknowledgeable translator
for your
beautiful poems.
Looking forward to hear from you soon again,
love
diti
