Her eyes!
To express my feelings
of love and longings,
of restlessness to be with her,
of anguish when she is away,
of anger when she does not respond,
I struggle,
with hundreds of words,
unsuccessfully
She just needs those two eyes
to express hers,
effortlessly!
Tell me just once
Of your love I have only a vague feeling,
Where have you ever bared your heart to me?
Keep away will 1, if my feelings bother you,
So, owing to me, you don't have to upset be!
Tell me just once that for me you have no love,
I'll have all my ardent desires wrapped within,
And prevent their scattering before the world,
So they don't become a mocker)c create a din!
Tell me just once that my love is unwelcome,
That you wouldn't transgress society's way,
And I will step aside, leaving path free for you,
You can be uncaring, go by what people say!
Tell me just once your heart doesn't flutter,
I'll distance myself from your circle charmed,
To find solace in memories, fond and fragrant,
You may go your way, and my love unharmed!
If indeed you care for my sentiments of love,
Express your feelings in a manner I can see,
Of your love I have only a vague feeling,
Where have you ever bared your heart to me?
Her tresses
Head bent, she sits engrossed in her work,
those loose auburn tresses,
soft and silky-smooth,
cascading down her shoulders,
like a dark shimmering waterfall.
They slip over her face,
partly concealing the features,
yet accentuating her appeal,
like the full moon floating in the sky,
half revealed by the passing cloud.
She pushes back those tresses,
with a gentle motion of her fingers,
and raises her eyelids,
unconsciously,
to catch me gazing at the magic!
