Central Institute of Indian Languages was established to co-ordinate the development of Indian Languages, to bring about the essential unity of Indian languages through scientific studies, Promote inter-disciplinary research, contribute to mutual enrichment of languages, and thus contribute towards emotional integration of people of India



The
Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), ( Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India) autonomous organisation of the Government of India, was established in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India. Since then it has been working for the establishment of an equitable social order, the rapid development of the Indian economy, the empowerment of Indian women, the creation of a vibrant infrastructure of world-class educational institutions, and the powerful revitalization of scientific traditions.
 




The Sahitya Akademi (साहित्य अकादमी) is an Indian organisation dedicated to the promotion of literature in the languages of India. Founded on March 12, 1954, it is supported by, though independent of, the Indian government. The Sahitya Akademi organises national and regional workshops and seminars; provides research and travel grants to authors; publishes books and journals, including the Encyclopaedia of Indian Literature; and presents the annual Sahitya Akademi Award of Rs. 50,000 (approx. USD 1,100) in each of the 22 languages it supports. The Sahitya Akademi Library is one of the most important[citation needed] multi-lingual libraries in India with a rich collection of books on literature and allied subjects. It also publishes two bimonthly literary journals -- Indian Literature in English and Samkaleen Bharatiya Sahitya in Hindi.The Sahitya Akademi was set up by the Government of India to foster and coordinate literary activities in all the Indian languages and to promote through them the cultural unity of India.
The Akademi was formally launched by the Government of India on March 12, 1954. It was registered as a society on January 7, 1956 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Shri C. Rajagopalachari, scholar, addressing a Sahitya Akademi meeting, 12th June, 1964 The Government of India Resolution describes it as a national organisation instituted to work actively for the development of Indian letters and to set high literary standards


The University of Mysore is among the foremost institutions of its kind, and is an enduring symbol in the sphere of higher education in India. It was founded by the then Maharaja of Mysore, His Highness Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV and his Dewan, the renowned engineer - statesman, Sir M.Visvesvaraya, on July 27, 1916. The Maharaja of Mysore became its first Chancellor. A Bill to establish and incorporate the University was introduced in Mysore Legislative Council in 1916. It was passed unanimously on 17th July 1916. The first meeting of the University Council was held on 12th August 1916 and the first meeting of the Senate on 12th October 1916.

The University of Mysore became the first University outside the domain of the English administration in India, the sixth University in India as a whole, and the first ever University in Karnataka. During the institution of the University in 1916, four faculties were constituted viz., Arts, Science, Engineering and Technology, and Medicine. Seperate Boards of Studies and Boards of Examiners were constituted in 28 subjects. The University was also administering 12 other educational institutions.


LABYRINTH

(Association of English-Language Poets in Vienna)
Founded in 1993, Labyrinth is a group of poets based in Vienna and working primarily with the English language in a foreign-language environment. Members meet regularly to read, write, perform and publish their individual and collective work, with the aim of exploring and enhancing their own and others' perception and expression of the varieties of poetic experience.

Pranjal Arts

Gwalior based PRANJAL ARTS represented by SARVJEET SINGH AND NEIRU SINGH known for their patronage and promotion of Indian Contemporary Art is a non-profit making organization founded in the year 2002 with the view to promote Indian Contemporary Art . Over the years. Pranjal Arts has organized three All India level Art Camps and few individual and group shows.

Some of the eminent artists,Prem Singh, Suhas Nimbalkar(Delhi), Jeevan Adalja(Delhi) ; Vilas Shinde(Mumbai), Suhas Baholkar(Mumbai), SK. Sahni(Delhi), Ramlal Dhar, Sohini Dhar(Calcutta) ,Mustak Khan chaudhery,ave participated in the art camp.

This organization is committed to promote known, not-so-known and aspiring artist by providing a platform for an interaction with Art viewing public of the country

Recently it organized a photography exhibition of Mr. Pratik Sharma in New Delhi
Pranjal Arts hosted a preview of Artist Prem Singh at the Jehangir Art Gallery and he was promoted at national and international level by Pranjal Arts .

Pranjal Arts also plans to organize exhibition on national and international both India and abroad.

 

 

 

Sadho - Sadho is a voluntary organization that aims taking great poetry to people from all walks of life through the innovative use of arts, media and social action. Sadho is coming with a number of good poetry films for full one session. Kritya and Sadho are working in same direction with different objectives. So this collaboration will really good for poetry lovers
